Group Study ExchangeJapan! Is This Trip For You?Travel to Japan: Rotary International District 5510 is looking for professionals from any field age 25-40 who are willing to participate in cultural & vocational exchange. We are seeking applicants for a month long Group Study Exchange trip to Japan beginning mid October 2007. Team members are provided with air transportation, lodging and meals with Rotarian families of the host district and will follow a structured agenda. The goal of GSE is to offer a vocationally oriented interchange of ideas, customs, and culture. Those chosen are required to attend Team training, prepare for public speaking both during the trip & upon return, and to write a summary of their experiences. Criteria include: US citizenship, age 25-40, 2 years in like profession/vocation, health insurance, availability for 4 week travel. Bilingual ability is a plus. Subject to interview selection. Please refer to the interview deadlines below. Information for employers to better understand the purpose of GSE and the value it will have for their employee is available from chairman Lucinda Rose. First order of business! We need a Team Leader. The outbound team will consist of one Rotarian leader and four non-Rotarians from the district. The leader will serve on the interview committee selecting the team. Please solicit your club members for applicants to be the team leader, and to promote this program to ‘civilians’ who would make great team members. In short, the requirements for a Team Leader are:
